What are operationalworks?
Queensland approvals for the physical works of a development, such as roads, drainage, earthworks and services, separate from the use approval.
IN PRACTICE
Operational works approval is where engineering detail meets council standards. It governs the civil works that create the lots, so delays here flow straight through to construction and titling. Good engineering drawings, lodged early and coordinated with the authorities, save months.
